We are an independent, locally and veteran-owned elevator company based in Greater Cincinnati. Our licensed mechanics service commercial vertical transportation across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, providing our customers with best-in-class expertise, communication, and customer service.
Our team of mechanics are elevator experts who service commercial lifts throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. With personalized contracts, your equipment is cared for based on age and use—with focus, flexibility, and ongoing support.

Tri-State Elevator has served the Cincinnati commercial market since 2001, and the company today is built on the same idea it was founded on. Customers should be able to trust the elevator company they hired. We answer or return your call promptly, document and communicate our findings, and follow through on our work. Our mechanics are affiliated with IUEC Local 11 and licensed to perform the inspections, tests, and repairs that buildings depend on across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Our senior team carries more than thirty years of trade experience between them, much of it on the older, more complex equipment that defines the buildings we work in. That depth shows up in the range of equipment we service.

How we work with your building
We start with a conversation about your equipment history, any recurring faults, and your compliance calendar (testing, inspections, certificate renewals). From there we propose visit frequency, key checkpoints each trip, and how we will report findings to your team.
When code or insurance questions come up, we help you understand what is required versus what is recommended—so you can plan capital and operating budgets with fewer surprises. If you are onboarding new property staff, we are happy to walk them through the machine room and cab equipment at a pace that sticks.
